Who may use the CoolFriend.Net Matchmaker web page?
The service is open to all (gay, straight, bi, male, female),
but we ask that you be at least 18 years of age. We may remove
or edit out inappropriate material.
What sortware are you running?
We are running the latest version of matching software (Midmart Matchmaker
2 PHP/ MySQL version).
How do I change my information?
You may change your information at any time. Just select
"Edit Account" from the menu.
How do I upload my picture?
If you have a photo of yourself, up to about 20k in size,
and in JPG or GIF format, you may upload it when you submit
your profile (register as a new user). Or, you may upload it
later. You can also replace your current photo with a different
one at any time. Just make the appropriate menu selection.
The software will automate the process for you, but you do need
a graphical browser to do this (such as Netscape or Internet Explorer).
Photo uploads do not work with text only browsers at this time.
** Please do not upload nude photos. Doing so will result in deletion
of your account. **
How does the anonymous email work?
The anonymous email facility enables you to anonymously send an email
message to a user who has joined Coolfriend.Net Matchmaker. You only
see the user's name, not his true email address. And when your message
is received, only your user name is shown to the recipient. It is possible
for two people to continue to write back and forth anonymously, without ever
knowing each other's true email addresses. However, for efficiency, you
might want to tell the recipient your true email address when you write.
If you reply to an anonymous email message, you must follow the
instructions in the message; your reply button will not work properly.
If you want to initiate a new anonymous email messasge, you should
visit the Coolfriend.Net Matchmaker web page, locate the user, and use
the anonymous email facility on the web page.
Is there a charge for this service?
This is a free service. If someone tries to charge you for it,
they're lieing.
